La Cuverie: Wines and Spirits from Île Népawa Honey La Cuverie creates natural wines and artisanal spirits using the exceptional honey of Île Népawa.

Each product is crafted with deep respect for nature and a commitment to sustainability.

Danielle Champagne and Patrick Pellegrino, passionate beekeepers and certified winemakers and distillers (Jonquière, 2022), have extensive experience in the hospitality industry.

The pandemic reinforced their dedication to local consumption.

Already artisanal winemakers and beekeepers, they earned a certification in Microbrewery Production Techniques and established a beekeeping farm with over 100 hives on Île Népawa, a true paradise in Abitibi-Ouest.

Built in 2022, La Cuverie, located at 370 Chemin de l’Île Népawa (Clerval), has been producing wines and spirits since 2023.

The boutique opens in May 2024, launching four high-quality meads.

New spirits will be released in summer 2024.
