On this unique and historically rich hilltop, you’ll walk across large rocky outcrops dotted with small grey pines.
The trail also crosses a fascinating “rock river,” a natural formation where the stones appear to have been carefully placed, one by one, as if for a specific purpose.
Much of the mountain is covered by young woodland, creating a light and open forest environment.
You’ll encounter many rock outcrops along approximately 5 kilometers of easy hiking trails with low difficulty.
At an elevation of 1,150 feet (351 meters) above sea level, the mountain already offers clear views—without the need for a lookout—of La Sarre, Palmarolle, Lake Abitibi, and several other scenic points of interest.
